Academically brilliant, C.L. Rajam made a humble beginning as a small-time employee in the State Construction Corporation after passing out from then REC, Warangal, in civil engineering with flying colours. He joined as resident engineer in SEW Constructions, later became its director. He is touted as the brain behind awarding more than a lakh crores worth of irrigation contracts in the first phase of Jalayagnam, under the EPC mode to the Navaratna companies. The state government doled out huge amounts of money as ‘advance’ to these companies which in turn diverted them to other projects and made quick money.

Born on 1st January 1952 at Manthani Village, Karimnagar District.

Pre-University course New Science College, Hyderabad. Passed out Civil Engg. Degree from R.E.C. Warangal in 1974 Awarded Gold Medal for bagging First Rank in the University, Civil Engineering Branch and he is proved to be the best out going student and he brought laurels to the University in the field of Techninical Education. His interest in Sports and other co-curricular activities proved that he is multifaceted personality....

Worked in State Construction Corporation for four years and participated in the construction of srisailam Dam, highest concrete dam in the state.

Joined in major construction company S.E.W Constructions Limited as Resident Engineer during 1978, and reached to the level of Director and partner in the company.

S.E.W Constructions is one of the leading construction firm in the country working across fourteen states in the country, with an annual turnover of Rs.1200 Crores. As a Director C.L. Rajam has played key role in the development of the company.

Chairman, for Intercontinental Infrastructure Limited, who has real estate investments in Nagpur, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Bhopal etc...

Chairman and Managing Director for West Bengal S.E.W Prasad Infrastructure Limited, which is taking up a Real Estate Project worth Rs. 5,000 Crore at Kolkatta.

Chairman of Shiva Kiran Charitable Trust, that  sponsors Economically Backward Meritorious students for their education.

He is a diligent and enthusiastic person and his constant endeavors have drawn many achievements to his credit.
